Antique Eastlake Transition Oak Plantation Desk Fall Front Secretary- $425

This is a very nice antique desk called a plantation drop down front desk.

Made of solid Oak wood.

Made by well known antique furniture maker - Eastlake. 

Strong Eastlake character to it.

Below, the slant front folds down to reveal a series of cubbies, one small drawer, and a flat writing surface.

All carved oak.  

From the 1890s.

This desk uniquely comes apart in 3 pieces. 

Comes with an oak caned seat chair.

Measurements- the whole desk measures 70 1/2 inches tall, 37 1/4 inches wide, 20 3/4 inches deep.

The flap down desk is 23 1/4 inches deep by 36 inches wide. 

The top piece is 21 1/4 inches tall. The middle piece is 21 3/4 inches tall. The bottom piece is 28 1/2 inches tall.
